Wandering outwardly on a Fractal

I was thinking about this quote:

“Primary experiences describe the general shape of not zooming into a fractal, but rather, zooming out of a fractal, with original experiences feeling more distant, yet ever layered into the wider and wider experiences which come.” -Christopher Vita

If experience is like zooming out from a fractal, then perhaps any body of knowledge offers a similar gathering momentum. It begins at the limbs with the collection of small bits of information. Those bits gather into larger and more solid structure.
